Everybody beliefs, that being popular means being safe, sound, rich and very happy. But, there is the seamy side of any success – fans, sometimes they are faithful and loyal and sometimes really obsessed and annoying.

Daniel Radcliffe is not only a star, he is a mega star and very popular young actor, but not so far ago, women part of world’s society was shocked, there appeared a girl, obsessed with Dan and she called herself ‘Mrs Radcliffe’.

According to the Daniel’s official reports, she followed him strictly everywhere in New York City, even tried to get into his car. Daniel said, that before there were no cases like this. And once this girl even provoked a comic situation. When Dan’s car was standing at traffic lights, her car was near Harry’s and she tried to get into it leaning from the window of her own car, thus, she was leaning from the window and her legs were still in the car. It was so funny, said Daniel.

Moreover, Radcliffe is a big fan of a cricket and had nightmares with cricket batsman being in the center of this nightmare. Dan dreamt that he is obsessed with the batsman. )

After information, that Daniel Radcliffe is a one movie star, brilliant boy decided to change the situation and prove that he is a talented and still very promising young actor.

Today will be released a new movie starring Daniel Radcliffe, titled “December Boys”. Here we will have an opportunity to see Dan in a completely another role specialization. First of all, this movie is not a funny story, bright for children and teens, it is a real drama. The movie is a film version of the Michael Noonan novel. Harry will play a role of a lonely boy, who is almost incapable of adopting to the world around. One day he together with 3 friends goes to an Australian Catholic convent, there he discovers a new life and falls in love with a beautiful girl (Teresa Palmer).

And, actually, about Teresa Palmer, a new girl among Harry’s friends. She is really pretty, older than Dan, not as famous as he is, but already a promising and rising star. She was named Australia’s 30 ‘Stars of Tomorrow’.

Have you ever think why Harry Potter movies and everything considering him is so popular? There are a lot of reasons, some of them are respective ones and some are really disgusting. So, I do want to believe that Harry Potter is so famous because of: interesting plot, picturesque scenes in movies, talented actors and so on. And I don’t want to hear, that Harry Potter’s success is just a perfectly thought-over marketing strategy. Press release, advertisements, extensive news-paper coverage… Namely these all made Harry Potter a star and gave him millions of fans worldwide… As it turned out, if compare worldwide box-office takings from James Bond movies (there were 22 of them) and Harry Potter (I mean 5 parts) Harry is an undoubted leader.

And now, please, don’t think, that I am pulling your leg, Potter’s box office takings are US$4.47 billion and James Bond – US$4.44 billion. And there will be 2 more parts about Harry Potter adventures. Harry Potter is even more popular than 6 episodes of Star Wars. But, I am still in disbelief, let’s take for example James Bond, he used to be the hero of millions of people, even the icon of the whole generation, it survived a lot of political affairs and conflicts and finally, there were 22 movies about him!!! But Harry has overcome him. May be the problem is in inflation? But, it is not the end, the record is going to be achieved in 2010 with the release of the 6th movie!
