And this news will rock a lot of people! Hurray, fans, finally, our dreams are starting to come true. Now, we can read Harry not for fun and pleasure, but officially, because the first part of Harry Potter has been accepted as a part of the A-level English syllabus.

Oh, I can’t believe it (and I think most people won’t like it), but according to the officials JK Rowling’s stories about Harry Potter will be studied together with Shakespeare and Twain.

Thanks to the syllabus, from next year, we will have an opportunity to write a 1,500-word essay and tell our thoughts about the plot, characters and language.

Unfortunately, I can already name you at least one person (that is Professor Alan Smithers) claiming that we should learn only such books, that have stood the test of time.

We shall see, what we shall see. Anyway, I am glad.
