In December British bookmakers started taking bets as to Harry Potter’s death at the end of the book, but at the 8th of June this strange process was stopped ‘cause there is no person who still believes that Harry will survive.
And who do you think is the most appropriate murderer? Lord Voldemort, who murdered Potter’s parents, at 2-1 odds, followed by Professor Snape,
one of his teachers, at 5-2, says William Hill Plc, a London-based bookmaker. By the way, Rupert Adams, a William Hill spokesman promised, if Harry survive he will return all the stakes.
But in order to get rid of the awful villain Lord Voldemort, there must be killed all the so-called horcruxes, the creatures preserving his immortality. So, according to unreliable resources, Harry Potter can be the last horcrux, so in such a way his death is almost a must, because in order to make the universe better, Lord Voldermort has to die and Harry will be sacrificed.
It obvious that this step is nothing more than a PR piece a successful advertisement but nevertheless it works. You will be surprised… assuming that JK Rowling has know the fate of Harry since Book 1, then it might be fair to assume that despite her best intentions, she has leaked very minor, subtle clues subconsciously into what she has and hasn’t written into the first six books.
This book is a general obsession and people are waiting for Harry as for a coming of Messiah, but we all know what happened next. Will Harry suffer from the same fate?
