According to the Forbes magazine JK Rowling is the world’s highest-earning author. This woman is capable of earning more than £5 every second. The most interesting part is that the gap between the Harry Potter author and the next literature’s biggest earner, James Patterson is $250 million!!! Rowling was called a sensation. I love the phrase in Forbes: “ … it was wizardry that transformed JK Rowling from a destitute single mother on welfare into a best-selling billionaire…”
Recently it turned out (thanks to a special survey), that most adults adore reading Harry Potter books but they just don’t want share their preferences with the rest of the world. Actually, most adults are fans of children’s books and romances.
According to the survey the places were divided in the following order:
Julie Walters made an awful confession, she didn’t like Harry Potter books and had never read at least one of them. Oh my God! What she is talking about? It is a hogwash.
Let me remind you that she plays Ron Weasley’s mother Molly. Her acting is exemplary and I have even heard such a thing, that she is an avid reader and always tries to buy Harry Potter books as quickly as possible (I mean after their official release). The only one thing she was ever interested whether her character was still present in books.
Now, I even don’t know what to think, whether she is a fool and was participating in this movie because of money or she is a brilliant actress?
