Yeah, you’ve got me right, we deal with the seven stories, which have sold an estimated 450 million copies worldwide and get tons of fans in the world.

I am ready to bet J.K. Rowling would like to be the best of the best in everything … As far as I understand, her publishing phenomenon with “Harry Potter” books has already vanished and she would like to repeat her success and do it again on the e-book market. How do you like the idea?

It is not a rumor anymore, the best-selling author is ready to make the fantasy books available electronically. So, nowadays it is only a matter of time when all Potter fans may download the popular series to their Kindle or iPad.

Let me remind you that Rowling has sold about 450 million copies of the Harry Potter books worldwide.

Oh, I can’t wait to have all these ebooks!

Rowling earns £5 every second

According to the Forbes magazine JK Rowling is the world’s highest-earning author. This woman is capable of earning more than £5 every second. The most interesting part is that the gap between the Harry Potter author and the next literature’s biggest earner, James Patterson is $250 million!!! Rowling was called a sensation. I love the phrase in Forbes: “ … it was wizardry that transformed JK Rowling from a destitute single mother on welfare into a best-selling billionaire…”

But not only Harry Potter books are selling so good the same situation is with movies. No, frankly speaking, the situation is even better. Harry Potter big screen franchise has already generated $4.5bn and it is not the end … The success is tremendous: her books have sold more than 400 million copies and you can meet them on 67 languages.

Stephen King occupies the third place.

Most Adults Adore Reading Harry Potter Books

Recently it turned out (thanks to a special survey), that most adults adore reading Harry Potter books but they just don’t want share their preferences with the rest of the world. Actually, most adults are fans of children’s books and romances.

According to the survey the places were divided in the following order:

Harry Potter
Jilly Cooper
The Lord Of The Rings
The Narnia books
Mills and Boon.

Julie Walters made an awful confession, she didn’t like Harry Potter books and had never read at least one of them. Oh my God! What she is talking about? It is a hogwash.

Let me remind you that she plays Ron Weasley’s mother Molly. Her acting is exemplary and I have even heard such a thing, that she is an avid reader and always tries to buy Harry Potter books as quickly as possible (I mean after their official release). The only one thing she was ever interested whether her character was still present in books.

Now, I even don’t know what to think, whether she is a fool and was participating in this movie because of money or she is a brilliant actress?
