It is a common knowledge, that Daniel Radcliffe lives in a box room at his parents’ London home and used to dream about his millions, but after his 18th birthday in July the Harry Potter star got an opportunity to deal with his own money. So, it’s no surprise that Daniel has decided to spend some money onto real estate.
Recently, Dan has spent £2.2million (approximately $4.5million) on a cool bachelor apartment in Manhattan. But he has no intention to live in it right now, so it’s available for rent at £10,000 a month.
Together with the other young Harry Potter actors, he was consulted by Coutts, bankers to the Queen. His new house is a 1,843 sq ft fifth-floor apartment (13 storey in glass-walled condominium in a fashionable SoHo (New-York).
The apartment was designed by Jean Nouvel and it has: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows. The building has 40 flats, a swimming pool, a steam room and concierge.
No doubts, Dan, nice decision and nice place and windows… just amazing!

Dear Fans, I am not sure, whether I will make you laugh or disappoint you, but facts are stubborn thing and I’m telling you, that J.K. Rowling has almost finished her first book without a teen wizard Harry Potter — a collection of short fairy tales titled “The Tales of Beedle the Bard.” According to Rowling only 7 copies of this book are already printed. One is a means to raise money for children and the rest 6 books were given as gifts.
Illustrations in the book are made by Rowling herself. Actually, the book is the latest book from Harry Potter novels, but it is not about Harry. It contains 5 fairy-tales, it is mentioned in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” as a present to Hermiona from headmaster Albus Dumbledore. The book supposes to contain clues how to destroy Lord Voldemort.
“The Tales of Beedle the Bard” is a kind of “goodbye” to Harry, her favourite hero for the last 17 years! One volume, decorated with silver and semiprecious stones in a leather cover will be exposed at the auction on Dec. 13 (with a price not less than $62,0000). What is more, J.K. Rowling is going to be at law with a small U.S. publisher – RDR Books, because of their intention to publish an encyclopedia of Harry Potter Lexicon. Dear fans, I am under the weather today, because I begin thinking, that out beloved Harry Potter and books about him are just a successful marketing idea and strategy. More and more teens, children and even adults are getting involved into Harry Potter games. As for me, I am not a supporter of video games, although their developing effect is undoubted. I still can understand, when children are playing a game with their favourite TV star, thus, their logical abilities, mind, memory and some other qualities are improving, but, very often these games can lead to obsession and in such a case it is better to read books or to watch movies.
But, nevertheless, I will write about Harry Potter video game and tell some main points of it. So, let’s take, for example, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

My dears, do you still remember who Harry Potter is? Yeah? The same with me – I am still his passionate fan and adore Daniel Radcliffe. And now I am ready to share some interesting news with you – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the 7th book about Harry Potter has been finally released in Russia. I’ve got friends there and now they are as happy as a calm (even despite the fears, that this part will be the last one 
).
The book was released 3 days ago (on the 13th of October) and despite heavy raining, Harry Potter fans gathered in front of book-stores 3 hours before the official book release. Most of them were teens aged from 13 to 17. The most active representatives came in special costumes: in cloaks with magic sticks. Some of them were even holding sheets of papers with inscriptions: “Good-buy Harry!”
Stores were presenting fans with sweets and cookies and also they announced a competition – “The best costume and the most devoted Harry Potter fan”. The circulation of the Russian version of Harry Potter is 1.8 mln. But the run-on will take place for sure (approx. 200,000 copies). In the world, the last book about Harry Potter adventures, considered to be one of the most readable and best-selling books about Harry. The book tends to be the most popular in German, Japan, Italy, Brazil and the Netherlands.
Yesterday one very interesting thought came to my mind, can we all (I mean you and the rest of fans) love Dan because he is so cute, so handsome, so talented and also, because he is so young and already so successful? May be.
He has just signed a new contract and will star in the following movies about Harry Potter adventures. Daniel already had a lot of awards and now he is going to have even more. Have you ever heard about the UK’s popular children channel Nickelodeon? So, Daniel has been nominated at “Best Actor” according to the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. The results will be announced on the 20th of October in London.
Moreover, Emma Watson and Harry Potter series were among nominees as well. Harry is going to show off such actors as Johny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Rowan Atkinson. You can vote for Harry here.
You know, Dan Radcliffe and Harry Potter is still a very popular person and, correspondently, a hero. Why? Because, first of all, there are a lot of new films with him and then at the National Movie Awards Daniel Radcliffe won a gong for Best Male actor.
No doubts, Dan was shocked and didn’t know how to react. He is only 18-year-old and already got such a pleasant Award. For a couple of minutes he seemed to be glued to his place. This Award is made by public voting (he got it for the boy wizard role in Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix) and in this voting Dan left behind such old sea-dogs as 007 Daniel Craig, 39, and Johnny Depp, 44.
Also, Emma Watson made a success, she got an Award for the Best Female role in the whole Harry Potter movies. She beat the following actresses: Keira Knightley, Eva Green and Kirsten Dunst. But Emma and Harry didn’t even expect to win such an Award, both agree, that they are very glad. Emma’s father added that he is so proud of his daughter. And, by the way, she still gets pocket money form her parents, despite the whole millions.
And even more interesting news, Daniel Radcliffe won’t turn down a proposal to be the following Bond, because it is so exciting to play in series, not in a single movie. Moreover, who doesn’t want to turn down James Bond? But, he has some hesitations, whether our world is ready to get acquainted with a not very tall Bond?

According to the Daniel’s official reports, she followed him strictly everywhere in New York City, even tried to get into his car. Daniel said, that before there were no cases like this. And once this girl even provoked a comic situation. When Dan’s car was standing at traffic lights, her car was near Harry’s and she tried to get into it leaning from the window of her own car, thus, she was leaning from the window and her legs were still in the car. It was so funny, said Daniel.
Moreover, Radcliffe is a big fan of a cricket and had nightmares with cricket batsman being in the center of this nightmare. Dan dreamt that he is obsessed with the batsman. )
