I can’t believe my own eyes but I am genuinely happy, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is pictured walking hand in hand with a pretty brunette. It seems to me this pictures is a real heartache for millions of his female fans.

The girl was yesterday reported to be Rosanne Coker, a 22-year-old painter and decorator’s daughter.

The two of them met each other 4 years ago and in total have worked on four films together.

The pair began dating a year ago. Let me remind you that Radcliffe is regarded as one of Britain’s most eligible bachelors.

Snape Named Favourite Harry Potter Character

I was really surprised to find out that Severus Snape, potions master, Head of Slytherin and Death Eater, turned to be more popular that Harry Potter himself and was named favourite character in JK Rowling’s bestselling series. By the way, Harry Potter is only on the 4th place.

Alan Rickman who played Snape in the film versions, took 20% of the 70,000 votes cast in the survey from the books’ publisher, Bloomsbury. Hermione Granger occupies the second place.

I was really glad to understand that Harry is JK Rowling’s own favourite, but she do understands that Ron is generally more popular.

The poll launched in May and consisted of a list of 40 characters to choose from.

Rupert Grint: New Harry Potter is Aggressive

One of the main actors of Harry Potter movies – Rupert Grint says the magic spells in Harry Potter are too“aggressive” these days.

The last installments in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One and Part Two will be on November 2010.

Rupert says he was shocked by how much more brutal the magic moments the film contains. All the characters are violent and angry. He hardly recognizes the initial idea of the film.

‘Harry Potter’ Movie Sets Worldwide Record

It’s not a secret that almost all movies about Harry Potter adventures are huge hits but the last movie about a boy-wizard has a tremendous success and it has already set a number of worldwide records. I would like to name you some of them:

Latest (I mean the 6th) Harry Potter installment earns $159.7 million in North America;
The new movie breaks records set by “Spider-Man 3″;
The sixth movie claimed to have the biggest worldwide opening of all time;
The international sale stands at $237 million;
The movie was shown on 84 markets;
The film cost $235 million to make, and it is the most expensive one in the franchise. Well, at least, yet.

Harry Potter Stars Go to Paris

Parisians are very happy people since the whole cast of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince upcoming movie have arrived in France. The most interesting part – they came on-board a special train that is a real and large ad of the new movie. According to the mass media not only actors are in France now, but animals from the film are there as well.

The journey of the unusual train will last till the 21st of June and it will stop at 11 towns across the country. The train is decorated taking into consideration the style and idea of the new film. Even such things as costumes and artifacts of the schoolboy magician can be found here.

Train-decorators say that the idea behind the train is to provide people people with a feeling that they are on the set of movie-making. For example, in a couple of minutes they can feel they are at Hogwarts or they are in Dumbledore’s office.

As a Potter fan I am very excited about such a train and I do feel sorry that I don’t leave in France.

Behind the Scenes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I came across a very interesting story – one of numerous Harry Potter fans lives near the place where takes place the filming of the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And this brave girl managed to get behind the scenes, so here is her story.

Nobody can visit this place without a special pass and such passes can be given to visitors when they are entering the place. As it turned out the area behind the set was called Unit Base. There Molly (the name of the girl) saw the trailers (where actors live) and the canteen.

Molly had a cup of tea and saw the crew having breakfast. Molly saw Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson had their trailers. She spoke to producers and managers and was very pleased with her adventure.

Will Dark Knight Outdo Harry Potter?

Most of us, fans, will say – definitely Harry and we are right. Due to just released official figures, we can see that the new Batman movie fails to get the same feedback (I mean in cinemas) as Harry Potter movies had.

It’s important to mention, that the Dark Knight has already overtaken Iron Man. And this was a very successful one ))) But, DK movie is still a leader for highest box office earnings on a single day.

Now, the Dark Knight is just one position below Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, will it be a new leader?
