Potter star Daniel Radcliffe at New Film Premiere

Daniel Radcliffe attended a premiere for “The Woman in Black,” and this boy looked impeccably stylish and happy. By the way, it was his very his first movie role since the final Harry Potter movie was released last year.

Radcliffe is very glad that he easily moved away from that character and start the next phase of his career.

The 22-year-old was a widowed father and lawyer in the film adaptation of the Susan Hill’s gothic ghost story. The premier took part at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday greeted and tons of Harry Potter fans greeted him.

Radcliffe attended the premiere with his co-star, British actress Liz White.

Harry Potter Series Given Special Award from AFI

The American Film Institute (AFI) was very generous to give special awards for the entire Harry Potter film series on Sunday. Once again, my warmest and sincerest congratulations to the cast and crew for another award nomination.

Well, girls, are you ready to have a look at the coolest and richest lonely boy ever? I am ready to bet your answer is “yes”! Here he comes, Daniel Radcliffe with his £51 million fortune.

Harry Potter star has been named as the richest British star under the age of 30 and it happened again, because he was named so for the second. Let me remind you that the 22-year-old has a £51.7 million fortune last year.

The second place is occupied by Keira Knightley, 26, who has earned £30.8 million. Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, who play Harry’s best friends in the film franchise are in fourth and fifth place.

By the way, Robert Pattinson is on the third place. Can you believe it?

‘Twilight’ Vampire Saga Is More Popular Than ‘Potter’

I am really sad to say it that the latest “Twilight” movie has sold out more than 2,500 screenings for its debut this week, and this result is much better than the one with thr final part of Harry Potter series.

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1,” the fourth of Summit Entertainment LLC’s five teen vampire films, opens Nov. 18.

By the way, despite my love to Harry Potter, I would love to enjoy this film ) are you into it?

“Breaking Dawn,” the final novel by Stephenie Meyer, has been divided into two films, starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Latest Harry Potter Film First to Take $1 Billion

It is not yet official but they say that the latest Harry Potter film has already made one more record by breaking the $1 billion mark.

Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has already made $1 billion at the box office.

Let me remind you that the first Potter film The Philosopher’s Stone came pretty close taking in $974.8 million. Well and in general it’s only the ninth movie ever to break the billion dollar mark.

Unfortunately, it will take Harry Potter a lot of time to reach Avatar, which holds the record at the box office, making $2.8 billion worldwide.

Potter Film Screened at Cathedral

You should have seen it – while witches and wizards were wondering the corridors of Hogwarts, almost 460 Potter enthusiasts crowded Gloucester Cathedral.

I think you DO understand that after filming Harry Potter the cloisters have become famous across the world since most fans see a perfect connection between them and Harry Potter movies.

Looks great ))) I would love to visit this church and feel the vibes of Harry Potter movies.

World of ‘Harry Potter’ Examined

The “Harry Potter” book series was the main center of attention during a lecture given by Sabina Magliocco, chair and professor of anthropology. She was very successful in explaining the main idea of the following series. She tells that despite some really grim moments these books have some really inspiring and truly light aim.

Magliocco even managed to see deep Christian values in these books. Also, she said that Harry Potter books are full of stories on loyalty, self-sacrifice, helping friends, and so on.

As to me, the lecture was very interesting and fascinating. It’s a pity I failed to visit it.

Half-Blood Prince Is on DVD and Blu-ray in December

Wow, all Harry Potter fans can be really happy because Warner Home Video has finally announced an official release date for the DVD and Blu-ray editions of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Frankly speaking, I can’t wait to get them in my own private collection. The sixth installment was a real surprise and pleasure to enjoy. According to the company representatives, the films will be in shops just in time for Christmas.

As to the prices, I don’t know for sure but they claim that the single-disc DVD will be available for $28.98, while the two-disc DVD for $34.99. The Blu-ray comes for $35.99.

Daniel Radcliffe Gets First Injury During ‘Deathly Hallows’ Filming

A lot of water has passed under the bridge since the first Harry Potter movie but Daniel Radcliffe has just got the first injury only during the filming of “Deathly Hallows”. In his recent interview the 20-year-old actor admitted, that it was real happiness for him to get at least a black eye during filming of Deathly Hallows.

Dan was supposed to be fighting with a snake but instead of snake there was a long stick with a boxing glove at the end.Harry was astonished with it and he was accidentally hit in the face. The blow was rather strong and Radcliffe lost his balance.

However, this black eye isn’t the only injury Radcliffe got while filming the adaptation of the seventh book.
