Illustrations in the book are made by Rowling herself. Actually, the book is the latest book from Harry Potter novels, but it is not about Harry. It contains 5 fairy-tales, it is mentioned in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” as a present to Hermiona from headmaster Albus Dumbledore. The book supposes to contain clues how to destroy Lord Voldemort.

“The Tales of Beedle the Bard” is a kind of “goodbye” to Harry, her favourite hero for the last 17 years! One volume, decorated with silver and semiprecious stones in a leather cover will be exposed at the auction on Dec. 13 (with a price not less than $62,0000). What is more, J.K. Materials needed: materials for under robe-black dress and cape-black square cloth, 1 piece of black poster board, a shoe string, black paint, pencil, lipstick, glue and glitter.

Let’s start from under robe: take any black dress, black gown or  a black T-shirt. Also, you can buy any (even the cheapest one) black fabric.

The cape - don’t forget about it, any black cloth will be OK. If you have any square black cloth, just tie it around your neck, also, you can sew a shoestring to it, thus, you will be able to take it off whenever you want.

The Wizard Hat – make it from posterboard. Try to make a triangular cone and glue it. You can glue metallic confetti on it.

Some detail, such as: glasses is better to buy and don’t forget about the scar, you can make it with the help of a dark lipstick.

It is not a secret, that Halloween is not exceptionally American holiday anymore, it is popular worldwide. What is more, not only children are mad about it, people of all ages adore dressing Halloween costumes (why not wear a sexy Hermiona Granger dress?). Harry Potter books and movies are perfect for Halloween party. They are full of various characters: wizards, ghosts, goblins and so on. Make Hogwarts of your own home!

First of all, create invitations: use creativity while making them: for example, write invitations with invisible ink or draw a map, how to get to your house. Then, decorate your house: over the entrance write a “Platform Nine and Three-Quarters”, make pumpkins with candles inside (jackolanterns) and place them everywhere in your house. Make a study out of each room. Hang glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling, record a tape with someone’s moan and let it play, thus, you will feel that the ‘Moaning Myrtle’ is near you. Make paper owls and let them hang from the ceiling.

Dear fans, I am under the weather today, because I begin thinking, that out beloved Harry Potter and books about him are just a successful marketing idea and strategy. More and more teens, children and even adults are getting involved into Harry Potter games. As for me, I am not a supporter of video games, although their developing effect is undoubted. I still can understand, when children are playing a game with their favourite TV star, thus, their logical abilities, mind, memory and some other qualities are improving, but, very often these games can lead to obsession and in such a case it is better to read books or to watch movies.

But, nevertheless, I will write about Harry Potter video game and tell some main points of it. So, let’s take, for example, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban it is both a computer and a video game (date of release: 2004).

Plot of the game:

Three best friends: Harry, Ron and Hermiona found out that a very dangerous man, named Sirius Black, a runner from the Wizarding prison, Azkaban, and is going to kill Harry Potter. The friends are creating spells in order to confront Black. But everything is not so simple, Black killed 13 people and there is a real murderer Peter Pettigrew, and he is hiding in Ron’s pet rat, Scabbers. But, I won’t tell you the rest of game, otherwise, it will have no interest for you…

In this game you can choose a player. You can be:

• Harry – he can jump and runs quicker than the others. In the course of game he achieves a map;
• Hermiona – she is able of crawling and creating spells;
• Ron – he used to learn one spell;
