Harry Potter and novels about him turned to be a perfect way to raise money. A copy of the last novel about Harry Potter adventures, signed by its author J.K. Rowling, was sold for £2,200 at a charity auction on Friday.
Hundreds of town dignitaries, supporters and businesspeople gave their clothes for the annual ball in order to help the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace.
The audience listened to classical music by X-Factor star Paris Graham-Jones. And a great event of this evening was a short movie about this work presented by Emma Thompson. This Centre was founded by Colin and Wendy Parry, parents of Tim Parry was killed in the IRA bombing of Warrington (1993).
