J.K. Rowling is being sued for stealing ideas from another British author. According to the lawsuit J.K. took parts of Jacobs’ 1987 book The Adventures of Willy the Wizard.

Many experts estimate the lawsuit is “a billion-dollar case”. I hope JK will win the case!

As to me, theatres should thank to such blockbuster movies as Harry Potter, Twilight and Avatar. they were of great help when it came to enticing people back to the cinemas.

“He made this translation not because of money, he is just a big and devoted fan of Harry Potter and he wanted everybody to be able to read it as quickly as possible”, said the Judge.

During the first hour there were sold 50,000 of books (according to the Waterstone’s chain of stores information).

as for me, I am a representative of English-speaking world and fortunately I can buy original version of the book, but I think it is not fair to people which don’t know English. Why it is not possible for author to write and for translators to translate simultaneously?

Joan Rowling (Murray according to her husband surname) and her husband had a walk with their son, during this walk, there was made a photo of their song from a very long distance, using a long lens on a photo-camera.
